i think the best site is site 3 http://bensguide.gpo.gov/3-5/documents/constitution/index.html because it is kid friendly.  I did not  like the 1 one because it was  more for adults  and the 2 one was also good but some words were to hard to say.  :>

George Washington was born in Virginia on A farm house. At the time that Washington was born Virginia was an English colony. He was born on Feb.22,1732. George was the first pres. Of the united states. He was known for his bravery and honesty. But there is no proof that he cut down a cherry tree and then admitted it to his father. Washington died on Dec.14 1799 eh was 61 years old.

George had a mom, a wife a half brother and he raised Martha {his wife’s}2 children and there grandchildren. George Washington’s father died when he was 11. when his father died his step brother raised him until he died because of a diesis called tuberculoses. He was a goods kid. He grew up on the Virginia farm house where he was born. When his father died he helped his mother with the farm. School was easy for George his favorite subject was arithmetic’s.

George was motivated by surveying when he was 16 by the government and  watch the boats sail by.  The government  saw his leader ship and made him there leader of a troop. After fighting for his country he became the pres. of the United States in 1789. in 1792 he was reelected. He wanted to protect his coterie.

He became the first pres. of the United States. He was known for his leadership and honesty. 1 thing is that there is no proof that he cut down a apple tree and the animated it to his father. He lead the 13 colonies though wars. He was carved into Mont. Rushmore. That is his important life.

You can learn that you need to follow your dreams. He was married at the age of 26 he fell in love with a women named Martha. She became the first first lady. She never got to live in the  white house.

Mrs. Linden’s Library

One day there was a girl she was about 17 years old she lived New York city. Her name was Jennifer. She went to Mrs. Linden’s Library to look for a nature book. She went into the nature book section. So she looked around the section. And she seen a dusty old book. The tile said A Growing Jungle. And also said “Do Not Open”. When she walked up to the counter the clerk [named Bob] said,”don’t read this book women you will be sorry”. “I don’t care,” she replied.

So she went home and started to read the book on her bed. She was
reading the book and as she turned the next page a mist of some kind of
sleeping gas sprayed out. When she woke up she was not in her room any
more. She was in some kind of a Jungle. She said “holy cow” I really need to
start spring cleaning. She thought that if she look for the spot wear her door
use to be. But the door wasn’t there. She didn’t know wear it was at
all.

She started to think about what the clerk [named Bob] said “don’t read this book women you will be sorry”. Then she said I should of listened to the clerk [named Bob]. She herd a loud sound and it wasn’t a sound that you here in
New York only at the Zoo. It was a monkey sound. then she felt a mushy coold thing on her face. She looked and it was monkey poop. “Nasty!!!!!” She said. Then She saw a monkey he was going crazy because he found a energy drink she drank the other day and there was still some left in the can. He was jumping off the walls and thronging poop everywhere.

She was very mad and she screamed. She keep on walking and found a lake. The lake ran into a swamp. Then she went into the swamp. When she was in the swamp she saw alligators. Then the swamp ran into a house. So then she went to the house. When she got to the house it was locked. So she knocked the door down. She just keep pushing and pushing the door until it fell.

When she got into the house it was the most ugliest house she had ever saw in her 17 years long life. She was really tired from all the excitement about the room decorations. So she looked for somewhere to rest. Then she found a bed to lie down in it was up stairs. Very fast she fell asleep. When she was sleeping the jungle was sucked into the draw that had the book in it. And when she woke up she couldn’t believe it,it was here own room. She was so excited that she was home that she Went out side and saw that there was no more swamp. She was really here she slapped her self 50 times.

Then she went in the house and saw that here room had no swamps or animals. She was in serious shock and she became . When she walked into her rooom she suddenly hared a monkey noise from her closet. No!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She scram so loud that Bob heard her and some wear in the town at Clerk [named Bob], said I warned her about the book but it is to late now.
